Everybody desires to live in a world where they are treated fairly and equal to everyone else. People are motivated by the thought of having to live with people that respect them despite any differences that they may have. However, the reality is different and different people exhibit various forms of prejudice, discrimination and/or stereotype on a number of occasions. The law and society have been working in unison to salvage the situation and make the world a better place for people of diverse natures. To understand the concept and its implications in a real society, a discussion of a recent event seen in newspapers and television reports could create content. Consequently, Trump's discrimination of the Mexicans ever since his elections will be reviewed and explained.

Over his life, America's President Donald Trump has been accused of racial discrimination on a number of occasions. In one of the recent events, he repeatedly accused the Mexicans of being rapists and criminals in the country. During his campaigns, Trump swore that he would deport all the immigrants in the country into their home countries, a move that saw his critics complain. In fact, he lamented that after his election he would crack down on immigration to boost the national security by preventing migrants from entering the country. He bluntly stated that he would build a wall between the United States and Mexican borders, a move that would make it impossible for Mexicans to enter the country without any legal documentation. More so, Trump exacerbated the crackdown on legal migrants into the country as well by revoking some of the old programs that have made the US a refuge for most of the workers. With the same level of charisma and ignorance, Trump has also directly attacked the Muslim in the country and ordered that they will be no longer accepting the religions within the country. He proposed a refugee policy that will suspend immigration from Muslim nations including Syria. He even went to the extent of stating that he would impose extreme vetting of refugees admitted from countries with rampant terrorism. In consequence, the number of Muslims in the country is expected to fall significantly.

Discrimination may take various forms. Some of the major forms of discrimination are racial, gender, religion, nationalism, sexual orientation, etc. This text identifies racial and religious forms of discrimination exhibited by Trump since his campaign period to date. Though the Obama administration had worked hard to protect immigrants in the society and promote equality among Americans, Trump has set a new standard for immigrants that would see even the legal immigrants still treated as outcasts in the society. Generally, the administration has made itself vulnerable to severe criticism from people with different views and perspectives. In fact, the human right activists in the country have highly disregarded the actions by the President and explained that they are racially biased and should not be set as standard in such a great country. Considering that everyone is entitled to an opinion, people have formed various attitudes and reactions to Trumps treatment of immigration in the country. Mostly, the people's views and opinions are negative and suggest that the people are not pleased with Trump's administration. People from different descents and religions like the African-American, Asian-Americans, Jews and the Muslims feel threatened by the course of actions ensuing in the country. Such unfair treatment of other minorities could easily be truncated to their wellbeing, which could see them also other members face the threat of deportation as well. For a president, I believe Trump has failed in the unification of the country. Whereas he ought to be a symbol of unity, he has only expressed contempt for the country's diversity.
