Quick reflection (small paragraph) about what I have learned during this activity
There is a lot that I have learned from this podcast. First, most people and I fall into these group tend to put a lot of effort in imaginary value while thinking its a real value. Spending a lot of time online has led me to spend less time with my friends. The podcast has been an eye-opener as to what I should concentrate on to make my life better or happier. I have also learned that it is possible to turn my imaginary values into minor values to make sure my life is interesting without interfering with another thing that makes life better. If we dont take care it is also possible to find a certain value slipping from one level to another.
Part two
Defining a Value
Introduction
Relationships are like the sun, it starts dim but becomes brighter as the day goes on. A relationship is among the five key fundamental values that we need to have a happy life. The friendship can either be friends, colleagues or even family members. Friendship as a core value has been helpful in my life during my happy hours and sad hours. It has also taught me the importance of selflessness and caring for the others. Additionally being able to retain friend has been a critical element in making me tolerant of other peoples views.
We all need friends and people we can rely on to makes our lives full and enjoyable.
Importance of a relationship in life
As a young person, I remember how I met my first friend and we formed a strong bond. It was in the school cafeteria and we were both sitting alone. I gathered the courage to go and talk to him and as we talked I realized we had a lot in common. From that day we were always together. He was good with computers and we could spend time learning different tricks on his dads computer. I also taught him how to play the piano. During one of his sad days when he lost a relative, I was there to comfort him. Additionally, my family has been of great support to me. Having a stable and happy family has made me realize the importance of having loving relations.
My qualities that I have come from my dad and Mon who have nurtured me over the years. Personally, I strive to nurture this relationship by ensuring I do what I can to support my parents. And although I cannot do much financially, giving the peace of mind by ensuring I respect and obey them will enable them to live a happy life. I also ensure my friendship with whoever am friends with last long by nurturing it and being supportive at all times
Although there are several fundamental values that would make life better, a relationship is the one that I value the most. It is the bedrock that holds all the other values dear and ensures I am the person who my parents have brought up and am sure I can bring happiness to other people.
Response to a peer
It is true one doesnt have to be great to start. However, for one to be great it is critical to start doing what one has been planning. Just sitting at home without putting an idea into action will not yield any result and there is no miracle that will turn a great idea great if it is not acted upon.
