Solar energy is sustainable and renewable. Solar energy is available globally and efficiently harnessed to provide electricity. It is accessible as long as there is sunlight and no time can it diminish unlike other sources which get used up with time (Roy & Das,2018). Moreover, solar energy reduces the cost of living by providing the cheap source of electricity alternatively. In most cases, electricity generated from the solar energy can be more than the required. Thus, the surplus is stored in the grid for other uses, and this will reduce electricity bills and increases savings. Solar power does not produce any harmful gas or emission to the environment. Apart from contaminations during the installation of panels, there are no other adverse effects associated with the solar power. Moreover, there is no noise pollution from the solar energy production cycle (Roy & Das, 2018). Once installed, solar power systems require minimal maintenance and thus reduced costs.

Conclusively, solar energy stands out to be the best and reliable source of energy today. Because the solar power is free from carbon dioxide, it is environmentally friendly as compared to other sources (Roy & Das, 2018). In any case, the impact might only relate to the solar panel production and materials used to manufacture it as well as the water obtained during the cleaning of the panels. Otherwise, solar energy remains to be the most sustainable and renewable source of energy.
