Video game Olympic merchandise will be on demand and this will create a lot of business opportunities. It will be possible to open up retail stores and kiosks specifically to sell this merchandise. Video games inclusion in the Olympics will also create jobs all the way for coaches, referees, event planners, audio and video equipment technicians, radio and television announcers, ushers, janitors and security guards. This will in turn significantly benefit the US economy.

It is very wrong for people to argue that e-sports are not sports. The e-sports athletes go through a lot of training to become professionals. And this training does not only involve the on-screen preparation. The e-sports players also undertake physical training such as going to the gym and taking a proper diet.
