Strategies for student achievement have a beneficial impact on raising the performance of school students. Studies show that assessment helps the students to yield good results, more so among the low achieving students (Grossman et al., 2013). The assessment shows the students that underperformance is not innate and academic improvements can be realized through adhering to the targeted changes. Additionally, assessments enhance the use of guided instructions that are directly linked to the increased performance of students (Grossman et al., 2013).
