Antisocial personality disorder denotes a psychological problem that is characterized by a long-standing uninformed pattern of dislike and disregard of people and their social rights. According to Coid and Ullrich (420), an individual with the Antisocial personality disorder (APD) has the characters related to lack empathy, and they always dont see it a big deal to break or bend the rules and laws for selfish benefits. Mark is a case study that who faces severe Antisocial Personality Disorder. Since the influence of the disorder makes him commit several crimes on people and that it started in his childhood, it called for a forensic study of his behavior to ascertain the disorder.

The best method to determine the truth of the mental problem that affects Mark is an experimental forensic method result of this research question is by use of an experimental way. A given number of antisocial personality disorder affected people are taken as a sample to determine how the psychological problem affects the individuals.

Diagnostic Impressions

The origins of the Antisocial Personality Disorder are not well known, but since research shows that they are ultimately caused by genetic and environmental factors like poor parental upbringing, living with parents who have the disorder, child abuse, and economic problems I analyzed Mark and found out that it is true. I also found out that social inequity causes Mark's condition, segregation like the one that was happening during the period of racial violence, living with inconsiderate parents among (Coid & Ullrich, 2010). The acts that the antisocial personality disorder victims like Mark display are a form of revenge to what they perceive about others since their actions deem to show that they are ready to counterattack their offenders. However, it is relevant to analyze issues concerning substance use. Also, it is essential to make a thorough study to point out the possibility of suicidal thoughts, psychosis, and homicide. I will also review Marks cognitive functioning in conjunction with family genogram.

Characteristics of Victims of Antisocial Personality Disorder

The following are the symptoms that are depicted by Mark are familiar with APD but at times are signs of psychopathy.

He acts as if he is charming and witty

He is good at flattery and tend to manipulate peoples emotions

Always break the law

He disregards his safety and compromises the rights and security of others.

He does not show any sense of remorse or a guilty conscience.

Always lie, get angry, steal property and engage in fights.

Mostly abuses substances and drugs among others.

For Marks situation, his willingness to participate in treatment and his symptoms he needs psychotherapy for anger, abuse and substance use.

Legal Theory and Application

The legal theory that applies to Marks situation is the attachment theory which outlines that the individuals under the knots of personality disorder suffer from the difficulty of functioning at their workstations, home, relationships and develop enormous pain. Most of the families that contain individuals who suffer from anti-social personality disorder endure several episodes of explosive anger, extreme depression, and anger (Keogh, 2014). The theory also outlines that just like Mark, the individuals depict lack self-motivation and develop radical suicidal thoughts due to incompatibility with others. Also, the disorder may even make the individuals to have truancy, to misuse substances and drugs the way Mark does. In adulthood, the situation switches from group offending to lone offending.

Legal Theory application and Implication

Attachment theory being a model of cognitive, emotional and behavioral development, it is clear that the model is related to the parent-child relationships. I also found out that social inequity causes Mark's condition, segregation like the one that was happening during the period of racial violence, living with inconsiderate parents among (Coid & Ullrich, 2010).

Research and Evaluation

In carrying out a forensic evaluation, De Brito and Hodginss (2009) research outlines that a series of both depended and independent variables need to be put in practice. Taking age to be the independent variable, then Marks occurrence of the disorder need to be done from when he was eight years old. Since the antisocial personality disorder onset is seen between 8-14 year, and the prevalence peaks at 15-19 and letter the prevalence become at the maximum when the individual attains the age of 20-29 years, the dependent variable is age. Therefore, the forensic analysis will be done through a review of Marks records. Several pieces of research about the outlined age groups have described significant information about antisocial personality disorder after a close examination of the behavior of the individuals without their consent.

Treatment Recommendations and Empirical Support

Since individuals who have APD have uncontrollable emotions that are undesirable to any group of people in the society, treatment may include family therapy, solution-based method and administering of psychotic drugs that minimize suicidal thoughts. The research and the experimental results show that victims of antisocial personality disorder yield several behavioral characteristics that are undesirable and which leads to adverse effects on them, their family members, spouses and close friends and associates thus the treatment requires helping the victims to connect with people; it may include hooking them with marriage partners.

Action Plan on Cultural Diversity

Letting the psychotic patients interact with diverse groups of people helps in cooling their temper, minimizing suicidal thoughts, avoiding violence especially when dealt with compassion and enhancing the aspect of making friends stick in their mind.
