Boeing 747 is an aircraft made from America. It is the first plane from America with the wide body used for carrying passengers and cargo. Usually, it is mostly called jumbo jet. This plane is one of the most recognized aircraft in the world due to its hump upper deck. It is also believed to be the first wide body plane ever produced in the World. It was first produced by Boeings commercial Airplane in the USA. The first model of 747 had a capacity of 150 wider than Boeing 707. It was believed to be the widest commercial plane in the 1960s and it was initially used in 1970. This aircraft has 4 engines and it usually uses double-deck configuration. In most cases, it is used for passengers, freight, and cargo.
747 models are designed in a hump-like upper deck which is used form first class lounge. It can also be used as an additional seating area where other passengers can use when traveling. It also makes the plane to be easily be used as a cargo plane only when the seats are removed and ensuring that the front cargo door is created (Negroni, 2014). The manufacturer considers all these to make it supersonic airliners and to make other models created in 1960s obsolete. This will increase its demand. Its manufacturer created this model in a manner that it can only be obsolete only when 400 planes have been sold although it is beyond the expectation of critics.
The current passenger 747 version has a higher supersonic cruise speed of Mach 0.85-0.855. It also has a global range of 7260 nautical miles. It usually carries 416 passengers in a normal three class layout. It can also carry 524 passengers while using a two-class layout. Sometimes it carries 660 passengers when a high-density class is used. This plane has a runway length of 10,700 ft (3,260 m) with only three crew members. This plane also has a luggage capacity of 6,190 cu ft (175 m3), 30LD1 and it is still under production. This aircraft still match the kind of business it offers. It can still be used to carry passengers and cargo to different destinations because it still offers comfort to passengers.
Another important aircraft model is G650 model made by Gulfstream engineers. Its design and structure were made using customer information in order to set new standards in air travel. The main purpose of creation of the new model is to improve the performance of aircraft in all aspects. This model has unfettered wings which are able to redefine the direction of air and also able to form an efficient airfoil that supports high speed and downy ride.
Gulfstream is a new jet that flies 92% of the speed of sound. It has a cruise speed of Mach 0.85. It usually flies 7000 nautical miles per 12964 km with only 8 passengers. It has comfortable seats and makes customers feel refreshed even after covering a longer distance. Gulfstream has 28 foot by 20.5 inches/71 by 52c m wide cabin (Philip and David Weldon, 2005). The cabins ensure that there is sufficient air circulation in the plane for all passengers and sunlight. All its windows are repositioned above the fuselage to increase visibility. Notwithstanding this model has a runway length of 5,960 sq ft (554 m2) with a takeoff weight of 735,000 lb (333,000 kg). In addition it has a range of 6,560 mi (12,150 km; 7,550 mi). It only requires two crews and 720 passengers. This aircraft is also appropriate for passenger and cargo services because it has higher speed and therefore ensures that passengers reach their destinations within a shorter time.
