This paper addresses the existential questions raised on the scope of one's religious views. Existential is the focus on the life of human being and their existence in the world. The focus of this paper is on Hinduism and Christianity

Existential Questions and Religion

Some of the existential questions mostly asked lack concrete answers because philosophers have several explanations for human life existence. The perception of human life sometimes can be influenced by one's religion. What people perceive on existential and how these two religions influence their perception and beliefs.

Existence and Hinduism

Human life according to Hinduism is aimed at fulfilling four objectives; they include; Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha. Individuals under Hinduism beliefs should live their lives by Dharma which means living a moral life. The second form of life entitled to people is Artha which means seeking wealth and prosperity. The Kama means living a joyful life of self-contentment. Moksha is the fourth phase of life which means seeking enlightenment.

Reincarnation

Reincarnation is an eternal belief in which the soul undergoes spiritual realm before gaining its physical form. According to the Hinduism ones' life undergoes several stages in a lifetime. What this transformation does is not limited to coming into existence in human form alone. One may take several forms of lives including animal and plant form before gaining their present human form.

Existence and Christianity

Christianity believes human life originated from God who created them from his image. It is a belief that human life is predestined by God. At the same time, human life should be marked by worshipping God and living according to His teachings. Christianity believes that God predetermines their deeds, and their lives have already been a purpose to serve by the creator. Human life comes to an end when they die and wait judgment day when their souls will be exalted from the dead and live forever after that.
