System request is the general information used for improvement, an introduction of new product in the market by an already existing firm or better still the onset of a new firm. The initiation of the system request should be done by the businessperson and not IS professional because the businessperson would be in contact more with the system than the specialist would.

While formulating a system request, it is important to note that it rises from an already acknowledged necessity, laid out plans and objectives for a proposal or project. The IS expert is a dynamic part of an IS project. In actual sense, they are not ideally the substance material specialists on the business effects and the things gained or lost but rather the subject matter expert (SME) on the information that is seeking to guide the business needs.

A complete system request has capital as a component many times in the form of finance as the backbone without which it cannot run. This lies squarely with the business owner who knows the financial preparedness, not recognized by the IT person who will but monitor only the exoskeleton of the system request while also providing necessary guidance.

Two, all businesses that are aimed and geared toward success must have its values that it upholds as an organization. These are all vested with the business owner who understands the image that he/she would love to be seen of the business. The owner, therefore, would relay the needs and desires while the specialist would carry out the task of fulfilling them

Again, when the IS whiz is left to prepare and accomplish these system request, an individual may come up with new tasks that will reduce their package of work or seek to create effortlessness for personal advantage while injuring the interests and needs of the company. It has, therefore, better than the entrepreneur alone who otherwise has an unbiased view should lay terms that would give a goodwill focus to the organization.

Again, the businesspersons are in a better place of introducing the new system, as this will allow them to be conscious of the needs of the company. Hence this person will communicate to the IS analyst features the system needs and thereby the analyst will be able to determine on the system to use while at the same time the businessperson will be served with the necessary information to present before the project approval committee on how the system will enrich company value wise.

Finally, an entrepreneur should initiate the system request as this person holds the knowledge required to give the vital input on the requirements of building the system. If this were done by the IS person, it would be erected on a wrong data that does not reflect the entire needs of the consumer.
