1. Software testing is essential and required to point out the defects and errors that were made during the development phases. A test case is a document that shows test data, scenarios, and procedures. While as a test plan is an inclusive document that portrays out all major activities connected with a particular testing project (Dennis et al, 2008, p 12).
2. A unit test is a way of testing a single unit that can be logically isolated in a system. Integration is a process in which individual software modules are merged and tested as a group. A System test is a process where an integrated and complete software is tested to assess the systems compliance with the specified requirements (Dennis et al, 2008, p 16).
3. User documentation is the process of documentation for a product or service provided to the end users. System documentation is the collection of documents that describe the requirements, limitations, capabilities, operation, and design, and the maintenance of a system. User documentation is prepared specifically for users of a system to enable them to work successfully with the system. The main limitation has been the inability of many users to perform meaningful searches for the right information online (Dennis et al, 2008, p 37).
4. The four basic components of a migration plan are infrastructure, Databases, ISV third-party applications and Custom code
5a. Direct conversion is a receiver in form of a radio design that dimidiates the incoming radio signal. Parallel conversion is a design of alteration among previous IT system and a target Information Technology system in a firm.
5b. Pilot conversion is a software or hardware migration design that comprises of a process of rolling out the new systems. Phased conversion involves splitting of new information into a number of modules. Simultaneous conversion is the adoption of several migration procedures that are tested concurrently (Dennis et al, 2008, p 43).
5c. Modular conversion is one which provides a comprehensive program of data conversion, system enhancement services, and customer care. Whole-system conversion involves the adoption of much simpler programming procedures because the whole system is changed into another rather than in phases.
6. The project sponsor, the change/ transformation agent, and the potential adopter who does the actual changing of the software (Dennis et al, 2008, p 50).
