Section 2

Complain Box/ Using Laptop or phone loudspeaker in public

When did people stop respecting public space?

Technology has improved over the years and has changed the way we live and interact, People are now able to carry movies or music on their devices. However, it is a common phenomenal to find people watching movies or listening to music through their speaker. It is okay to keep oneself entertained but it is equally important to respect other people around you.

A few months ago, I was at the airport waiting for my flight. The guy seated to me took out his phones and started listening to music loudly.

Maybe you should use your earphones, I said

Maybe you should mind your business buddy, he said.

I was not in the mood for confrontation and I moved to another seat.

People may want to entertain themselves though not everyone shares the same kind of movie or songs. People should, therefore, have their earphones plugged into their devices if they want to listen to stuff from their gadgets.
