The mission of Westgate resort is We believe we enrich the lives of our guests by providing a lifetime of wonderful vacation memories. It therefore enriches and supports charitable activities in the areas where it owns and operates its resorts (Crouch, 2010).

The Vision is fulfilling the dreams of their guests through the provision of a vacation experience that exceeds all expectations.

The comparable company is Silverleaf Resorts.

The mission is structured around Value, flexibility, variety, and convenience, and they are its defining qualities.

Its vision encompasses the provision of the best accommodations for all the valued guests and the attainment of outstandingly high levels of excellence in resort accommodations and hospitality.

The core competencies of the organization are time management skills, multi-tasking, and active learning.

Time management skill.

It is the ability to organize and plan on how time will be divided into the different activities at a particular time (Goetsch, and Davis, 2014). It is one of the vital soft skills necessary for the employees, and the employer is very keen on it. When time is well managed, efficiency and productivity in the activities of the company are realized.

Multi-tasking.

This is the ability to do several activities or duties at a single time thus reduces the number of employees in the company (Agarwal et al., 2016). At Westgate Resort, multitasking at the employee level enables to handle many tasks at one particular time in that one employee can serve several customers or clients at a specific time thus increasing productivity for the company at large.

Active learning

It is the process where the employees actively engage in reading, discussion and problem-solving activities which are actively meant to improve or enhance their synthesis, analysis, and evaluation of burning issues at the workplace. Its essential for the company and in that the employees and the employers can solve the problems

The strategic goals for Westgate are: To ensure customer satisfaction. The organization invests in ensuring customer satisfaction through up standard delivery of services. It focuses on increasing revenues over a period. By ensuring that the core competencies of the company are adhered to by the employees, there is an assurance that realization of an increase in revenues is a reality. The Foundation also wishes to explore new customer segments so that it can expand its grounds and therefore bring its services closer to the people thus tapping new markets.

Evaluation of Westgate's current behavior and business goals alignment with its statements.

In 1982 David A. Siegel founded the company and over time, it has been very keen in making developments to give it a competitive advantage in its market scope.

Determination if Westgate lives up to its mission, vision, and values.

The company lives up to its statements through charitable activities to the Westgate community, and they help in enriching the lives of its customers and fulfilling the dreams of a good life.

Justification.

In 2016, Westgate evidently donated an amount of $1.5 million inclusive of support grants for its team members, $250,000 grant to the Gatlinburg community and support to students within the Westgate community
